Hitman is a 41’ Hatteras Sportfishing yacht with twin diesel motors. Her 14’ wide cockpit and 19 ton displacement make her a very comfortable and stable fishing platform. An enclosed salon has plenty of room to get out the sun or relax on the ride out. We usually fish 30-50 pound class tackle but there is also a sturdy fighting chair for when the big one gets hooked up. The boat is also equipped necessary safety gear, offshore life jackets, and emergency life raft.
Hitman is lead by Captain James Boyd. He seeks to provide you with a fun and safe fishing experience whether you're a novice fisherman just looking to get out with the family or a group of seasoned anglers. All you need to bring is sunscreen, food, and drinks and let us take care of the rest. Captain James' more than 20 years of Outer Banks fishing experience will give you the best advantage to catch fish. The boat is slipped at Wanchese Marina in Wanchese, NC, allowing a short ride to reach Oregon Inlet. All fishing licenses, bait and tackle are provided. If you have the desire to bring your own gear you’re welcome to do that as well. The boat has a mate who handles all of the rigging of tackle and helps you get your catch to the boat. The mate does work for tips alone and it is customary to give 15-20% of the price of the charter.
