Outer Banks Surf Fishing Lessons
Learn to fish the surf! Depending on the conditions and season, you can catch Spanish mackerel, bluefish, sea mullet, perch, red drum, black drum, speckled trout, grey trout, puffer fish, pompano, sheepshead, sharks and flounder. Your instructor, Brendan, brings a wealth of knowledge of surf fishing in the local Corolla area and will provide all of the fishing tackle, gear and bait you will need to have a fun and successful fishing trip. His favorite fish to catch are red drum and sharks because of the fight!
Brendan grew up in Virginia mostly freshwater fishing in lakes and rivers like most kids do catching bass and pan fish. As he grew older he switched over to mostly fishing in saltwater as he vacationed on the beach and went on boats. Fishing is a passion for Brendan because it is always something different. You must learn to adapt to all the changing conditions, and every day is a new challenge. Brendan has always enjoyed nature. Fishing is relaxing to him and a great way to get outside and enjoy the outdoors.
There is a unique strong fishing heritage and community in the Outer Banks and Brendan has enjoyed traveling all around the Outer Banks and learning from others. He enjoys fishing with his wife and two dogs, who also enjoy eating the fish!
