Captain Hank also has over 28 years experience in the charter boat business and has captained boats out of Florida, the Bahamas and now Oregon Inlet Fishing Center in Nags Head! Captain Hank's expertise and southern hospitality will certainly make your offshore fishing trip an unforgettable experience. 

True Grit is a 53' Paul Mann built in 1990. It is equipped with all International tackle, 2- 16,000 BTU air conditioners, stereo, TV/VCR, and refrigerator/freezer. It has a 24K cruising speed with a new horse power 825 Cat engine and a Northern Lights generator. All the right equipment with the right touch to make your trip a memorable one.


Capt. Mike Parks of the Wendy Kay

Shrimp & Crab Charters on the Wendy Kay are great fun for the whole family! These charters offer an incredible hands-on experience that includes pulling shrimp nets, baiting & setting crab pots - and the best part, pulling the pots & nets and sorting the catches! 

Captain Mike Parks is Coast Guard certified and has over 35 years experience working on the waters ranging from the western Albemarle Sound to the offshore waters between Hatters and Oregon Inlet. His vessel, the Wendy Kay is a 35 foot Duffy powered by a 3208 435 horsepower Cat motor, providing plenty of room and power for a great day on the water.

Capt. Nick Gowitzka of Little Shell

The Little Shell fishing vessel debuted in 2017 on Season 4 of National Geographic's Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks. Its 3-man crew of lifetime watermen consists of Captain Nick Gowitzka and mates Cliff Spencer and Brandon Brickhouse. Gowitzka is a veteran of the series, having previously appeared as a mate on the Fishing Frenzy. He plans to lead the Little Shell to glory as it returns for Season 5 come summer 2018.

The Little Shell, a 42’ Provincial, will keep you high and dry. She's powered by a 580 horsepower engine capable of cruising smoothly at 18 knots to and from the fishing grounds. Anglers can relax in the spacious cockpit complete with 4 comfortable chairs and a shade top for when you want to stay cool and out of the sun.

Powered by a generator, the Little Shell includes amenities like a climate-controlled cabin, full-sized bathroom, microwave, TV and stereo that is capable of Bluetooth for your iPad or cell phone. She offers the latest in electronics too, including radar and fish-finding equipment, as well as top of the line communications and safety equipment.

The Carolina Girl run by Capt. Troy Salmon has over 30 years fishing experience. His father started him fishing here on his boat Megabyte in 1982 and has been fishing here ever since.

The Carolina Girl is a brand new 38’ Viking. The Carolina Girl has air conditioning and is heated for your comfort. It has all the amenities including a full bathroom, kitchen and dinette with 2 flat screen TVs with satellite TV service, satellite phone and all of the best electronics.

The Carolina Girl out of OBX Marina in Manteo, NC, offers a variety of trip options from full day Gulf Stream fishing for tuna dolphin and marlin to half, 3/4 or full day inshore fishing for species like amberjack, cobia, flounder, Spanish mackerel, bluefish etc. We also do specialty trips for wreck fish and shark upon request.
